Hey oppo!

I'm writing an article about humble people a-la top 10 format.

Please comment below and tell me in a short paragraph or a few words why this person is important and yet humble. These are the kind of people seldom changed by status or wealth. They get down and dirty and will work with the least of their employees or peers. They shy away from the public eye, and only open their mouths when they have something substantive and real to say. They love those around them and immerse themselves in their role or career even when they aren't required to lift a finger.

I nominate Pope Francis, because he demanded that the rockstar treatment for the pope ends, washed the feet of a Muslim woman in a prison (considered something way below his status,) and demanded around the clock public showers for the homeless around the Vatican... and currently drives a '84 Renault because he's pretty down to earth.

I also minute Beck for not even acknowledging Kayne's BS.

Please comment below with a corporate leader, celebrity, actor, musician, etc who you think is exemplary of humility.

One of the presidents in South America (I think it's Bolivia or Paraguay or Uruguay) is said to be humble

Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus

Cincinnatus was regarded by the Romans, especially the aristocratic patrician class, as one of the heroes of early Rome and as a model of Roman virtue and simplicity. [2] He was a persistent opponent of the plebeians . [2] When his son, Caeso Quinctius , was convicted and condemned to death, Cincinnatus was forced to live in humble circumstances, working on his own small farm, until an invasion caused him to be called to serve Rome as dictator, an office which he resigned two weeks later, after completing his task of defeating the rival tribes of the Aequians , Sabines , and Volscians .

His immediate resignation of his near-absolute authority with the end of the crisis has often been cited as an example of outstanding leadership, service to the greater good, civic virtue , lack of personal ambition and modesty. As a result, he has inspired a number of organizations and other entities, many of which are named in his honor.

That was all a copy and past from Wikipedia but honestly he was one of the most humble leaders of all time.

Jose Mujica, the president of Uruguay, lives on his farm, drives an old bug and donates most of what he earns to charities benefiting the people of Uruguay.

Matt Hardigree.

The esteemed position of Editor-in-Chief hasn't gone to his head like one would expect.

Dude, he's so humble. When he walks into places, he'll stand up on a high point, just so everybody can take a selfie with him in it.
